This policy explains how Verified Home LLC ("Verified Home," "we," "us") handles information in the Verified Mortgage and DTI Calculator mobile app for iOS and Android (the "App").
The short version
- The App does not collect, store, or send us any personal information.
- The numbers you enter stay on your device and are used only to calculate the results on screen. They are not saved, and they are gone when you close the App.
- The App has no accounts, no ads, and no analytics or tracking tools. We do not sell or share any data from the App.
- If you choose to apply for a loan or contact us, the information you give us at that point is covered by our Privacy Notice (FACTS).
1. Information you enter in the App
The calculator asks for figures such as home price, down payment, interest rate, loan term, property tax, homeowners insurance, HOA dues, annual income, and monthly debts. These figures:
- stay on your device and are used only to calculate your estimated payment, amortization schedule, and debt-to-income ratios;
- are never sent to Verified Home or anyone else; and
- are not saved to your device's storage. They are held only in the App's memory while it is open and are gone when you close the App.
2. Information the App does not collect
The App does not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or device or advertising identifiers. It does not include analytics, advertising, or tracking software, and it does not require an account.
3. Market rate data
When the App opens, and when you tap "Refresh Market Rate," it downloads a small public file of sample market rates from GitHub (raw.githubusercontent.com), a service operated by GitHub, Inc. This request does not include anything you entered in the App. As with any internet request, GitHub receives your device's IP address and basic technical information needed to deliver the file. GitHub's handling of that information is described in the GitHub General Privacy Statement.
4. Actions you choose to take
Some buttons in the App take you outside it, only when you tap them:
- Our website and online application open in your browser at verifiedhomellc.com and apply.verifiedhomellc.com.
- Call opens your phone's dialer with our number.
- Share opens your device's share sheet with our contact information, and you choose whether and where to send it.
- Share Application with Buyer shows a QR code that links to our online application.
Nothing you entered in the calculator is passed along by these buttons. Information you provide when you apply for a loan or contact us is handled under our Privacy Notice (FACTS).
5. Children
The App is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
6. Security
Because the App does not collect or store personal information, there is no App data for us to hold or protect. The market rate download uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
7. Data retention and deletion
We do not retain any data from the App, because the App does not send us any. There is no App data to access or delete. To ask about, or request deletion of, information you gave us when applying for a loan or contacting us, use the contact details below.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change how the App handles information, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above.
